o the norh-west of the center of the Piotrków city, in the Byki district, an old castle is situated. It houses Ośrodek Doradztwa Rolniczego (Farmers Aid Center). The castle was erected as a Gothic structure by the Jaksowie family of the house of Gryf in the 15th century. It was frequently remodelled, in the 17th (Renaissance palace), 18th and 19th centuries. Destroyed during World War I and World War II operations. Reconstructed in the years 1959-1964. The remains are Renaissance portals and window framing, a tower and corner towers.
