he remains of a 14th century castle of the Syrokomla family are situated at the top of a vertical rock, known as "Zamkowa" (Castle), in the Kluczwoda River valley, over an old route, so called "Upper route", leading from Kraków (Cracow) to Śląsk (Silesia district). These are the extant walls of probably two rooms adjacent to each other. To the west, at the foot of the rock, a place that once was a well is situated. On the slope of the rock vertical scretches are visible, which probably were caused by a bucket during water transportation from the well upwords.
