he castle and the fortifications of the city of Inowrocław were important elements of the defensive system during war operations against the Teutonic Order. The castle withstood their attack in 1331, but just one year later the Teutonic Knights burned it down. In the years 1377-1396 Władysław Opolczyk held the castle in feud. Nothing has left of the castle till now.
